Virginia Tech

I'm at work today, going about my normal routine and then I click on msn.com and I see the title "Horror at Virginia Tech" and I'm frozen at my desk, shocked at the images on my computer. It seems that life can go on as normal and then a second later you're reminded that the world we live in has changed. My heart aches for the students, staff and family at Virginia Tech and yet, it's a realization that you're not guaranteed tomorrow.

My husband is going to school to become a teacher and one day we hope to have a family, but like many other people, I see stories like Virginia Tech, Green Bay East and Columbine and I wonder what kind of world will my kids grow up in? I can only hope that good will win out in the end.
