If you missed this morning's "Girly Spot" we talked about the 1 item everyone woman needs to have in her wardrobe this spring and summer...LWD, the little white dress! It's a great piece because you can completely change the look of the outfit with accessories! One suggestion, don't make the mistake of wearing it to a wedding.

Loving This!

WOW, can you believe this weather we're having! Right now, I'm blogging from my porch in shorts and a T-Shirt! Hopefully, you'll be able to go out and enjoy the day. This warm weather gives me that itch to buy something. I know there's nothing I need, but things that I want, that's another story. What woman can't help herself when the thought of summer and late nights come to mind with beautiful weather. And that's exactly it, the thought of buying new clothes to enjoy those late summer nights.

I've figured it out!

After weeks of watching Sanjaya win on 'American Idol' it finally hit me who he looks like...Halle Berry. I know that might seem like an insult, but look at these pictures and you be the judge. I'm still shocked that he's on the show. In my opinion, I think Blake should win the title, but I could see it going to Melinda. Remember, if you ever miss an episode, we recap everything that next morning. Plus, don't miss 'Bruce, the 45-year-old American Idol Groupie' Wednesday mornings around 6:20am.

It Costs how much?

This morning on the show, we talked about expensive hobbies. Would you believe the most expensive hobby in the U.S. is gardening/landscaping? That makes me grateful to be in an apartment. We took your calls and I couldn't believe some of your hobbies. We had the usual, snowmobiling, racing and stamp collecting. But one listener and her dad actually do World War II reenactments! She said they own a tank and everything. My husband Aaron is on this golfing kick right now. Who knew you needed special shoes and gloves to golf! I guess I can't complain that much about his 'expensive' hobby because he hasn't seen the credit card bill from my last time at Bay Park Square!

Let the Dancing Begin!

I'm so excited that 'Dancing with the Stars' returns tonight on ABC TV-2! Yes, the dresses and the dance routines are nice to see, but I love the random combination of 'stars' they have on the show. Who would have thought you'd get 'Cliff' from Cheers to put on tight pants and dance around next to Joey Fatone from NYSNC?! The person to watch is Heather Mills, she's the first 'Dancing' contestant to compete with an artificial leg. In a recent interview, Heather said she's bringing an extra leg just in case! Can you imagine if that thing fell off? How embarrassing for her! I look forward to seeing Billy Ray Cyrus fight the urge to bust into an 'achy-breaky heart' line dance!

I'm Starting To Come Around

I have to be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of Angelina Jolie. I have a hard time getting over the fact she came in between Brad and Jen. But, I will say she's starting to grow on me a little.

With her recently adopting the young Vietnamese boy I realized one thing I do like about Angelina. She knows paparazzi will follow her every move and photograph her doing it. In that case, they might as well photograph her doing something good for the world. Angelina's figured it out. What better way to bring attention to starving orphaned kids in third world countries than to go down there yourself because she knows the photographers will follow.

So I will give her credit for that, but I still have a hard time forgetting the "Billy Bob" days.

It completely slipped my mind, but I have a wedding to go to on the 24th and I haven't even thought about a gift yet!

The groom is my husband's cousin and being new to the family, I don't want to give a thoughtless gift. They have been together for over a decade and have pretty much everything. What about the registry, you ask? Everything is bought from it! So now panic mode is setting in.

I thought about money, but to me, that seems so impersonal. Then I thought about something engraved, but what if they end up with the same 2 clocks engraved to say the same thing! With the heart of wedding season coming up, you might find yourself in the same situation. A tip from my girlfriend was to checkout the website I used it religiously during my wedding planning, but I never thought to use it for gift ideas. Give it a try, you might like it!

Yeah for warm weather...

There's hope, we will see the grass someday soon! I walked out of work today and stepped into a huge puddle and soaked my shoes and socks, but I LOVED it, because it means Spring is on the way.

What's funny is seeing neighbors you didn't even know you had. I saw a couple out walking with a baby in a stroller. Who knew they had a kid? Must have happened over the holidays!

And it's amazing how 45 degrees feels so warm in Wisconsin during this time of the year. I had my windows down in my car jamming out to some music and then laughed because if this was summer and 45 degrees, I'd have a winter jacket on the heat cranking.

My most important thing to do this weekend, is the get my car washed. Yep, I'll probably see you in the car wash line like the rest of Northeast Wisconsin!
